About Me and My Tribe

About Me…

Welcome to my blog and pretty much my life! Lindsey here. I am a new mom. I’m not perfect. I’m real. I just became a stay at home mom when my son was born. This blog is a way for me to share my experiences good, bad and ugly with other moms like me or women thinking about becoming a mom. I have found that it is good to hear from other women walking a similar path as you so you don’t feel so alone.

This blog exists out of shear determination and dedication. As a woman, a new mom and heck a person it is so easy to compare and be intimidated by how successful others have been. But, the one thing I have really been learning lately is that there is room for me too (and you)!

I love writing but I’m not a fan of failing. When I read other blogs I can’t help but think what amazing writers they are and that all their pics are perfect.

Well guess what?! My writing, life or pics aren’t perfect at all, but they’re mine! I am a real mom in the real world trying to give hope to other women.

I hope it serves as an opportunity to relate, inspire or just to make you feel better about your own situation(cuz let’s be real..I mess up a lot).

My tribe…

Throughout my blog I’ll be sharing my story and my tribe (my family) with you. So, I thought it would be fitting to officially introduce them to you all here:

On December 18, 2010 I married this amazing man. He is my husband, my encourager, my best friend and my hero! I know it’s sappy but I’ve prayed for him for as long as I can remember and I’m beyond thankful to do life with him!

You’ll hear a good deal about him because like I said, we’re doing life together. And with God we’re doing it big folks!

On April 29, 2016, Aaron and I welcomed our son, Foster, into this world. It was absolutely the most amazing day of our lives. I am privileged to be his mom. Each day with him is better than the last and I can’t believe God gave him to me.

You will also hear a whole lot about this little man since I’m a new stay at home mom and I get to spend all my days with him. Therefore, I have a lot of material and experiences.

Hunley Ann

Oh, our sweet little girl. We rescued Hunley Ann in March of 2015. She is an amazing little girl with tons of energy and FOMO(fear of missing out) to the tenth degree. We love her so much and she was used to being our main focus of attention. She is starting to warm up to Foster and Foster absolutely LOVES her.

It’s so fun to see them play and explore life together everyday.

This is us

We are perfectly imperfect and loving every second of the life that we have been blessed with.
